The VHS Filter is making people's heads explode
Hey everyone!
I’ve just added an option to turn off the VHS filter!
We originally added the filter because it aligns with our phonk and 80s Dark Fantasy Aesthetics. We find it cool, and it helps with making the visuals more interesting, especially the darkest parts of the dungeon.
That said, some players mentioned that the heavy effects were causing headaches, and I don’t want the aesthetic to get in the way of enjoying the game. Now, you can disable it for a smoother look.
Soon I’ll be adding more granular controls, so you can fine-tune the chromatic aberration, noise, and other effects to your preference.
Let me know how it feels!
Oh, and I also fixed a bug that allowed you to get to the ending sooner than expected. Whoops.
