Dark Reality is OUT! + Who we are
After three months of intense, focused development, we are ready to release Dark Reality, our first indie project. This is a demo we made to test whether or not the concept of the game resonate with a larger audience. It's still rough around the edges, but we poured a lot of work into it and feel ready to share it with the community.
We are Nicola and Luca. We are two game developers from Turin, Italy. This is our first time going indie. In fact, until recently, we both worked in a AA studio, where we met and became friends . Then, one of us resigned, while the other was laid off shortly after.
Realizing we were unemployed but eager to work, we gave ourselves the chance to make games on our own. We want to create meaningful, thematic games rather than content. We want to make games that are the result of sustainable, intelligent development processes rather than crunch. And we want to have fun while doing all of this.
Dark Reality is our first shot at building a future where we can support ourselves and our family by delivering thought-provoking, honest gaming experiences to you, the players. We don't want to make billions; we want both you and ourselves to enjoy the ride.
Thank you for reading. Let us know what you think of Dark Reality!
